The Film Club began in May 2014. Its aim was to provide a social occasion for all our parishioners and those in our community and to show a variety of films which would be enjoyed by most people. It meets on the first Wednesday of every month in the Thompson Room in St Austin's Community Centre. Doors open at 6 30 pm when the cafebar will also be open for hot and cold drinks. The film starts at 7 pm and there is an interval when drinks once again will be available and ice creams will be on sale. The evening finishes somewhere between 9 30 and 9 45 pm. No charge is made but donations are welcome to support the Church and to cover the cost of licensing of films. All are very welcome.
