Film Club

The Film Club began in May 2014.  Its aim was to provide a social occasion for all our parishioners and those in our community and to show a variety of films which would be enjoyed by most people.  It meets on the first Wednesday of every month in the Thompson Room in St Austin's Community Centre.  Doors open at 6 30 pm when the cafebar will also be open for hot and cold drinks.  The film starts at 7 pm and there is an interval when drinks once again will be available and ice creams will be on sale.  The evening finishes somewhere between 9 30 and 9 45 pm. No charge is made but donations are welcome to support the Church and to cover the cost of licensing of films.  All are very welcome.

Film Club Christmas Special - will be on Wednesday 6 December 2017 and we will enjoy "Nativity" about a primary teacher who is asked to direct the school's musical version of the Nativity and turns to Hollywood for help!  It stars Martin Freeman.  Doors open at 6 30 pm for a complimentary glass of wineorange juisce and mince pieschocolates to thank everyone for their support this year.  We ask you to wear something red - a jumper, ear rings, a musical tie, a full Sana suit, to add to our Christmas festivities.  All welcome - you will enjoy it.
