There are a number of different ways to support the parish financially.

Standing orders are the best and easiest way to ensure your parish benefits from whatever regular giving you can afford as it means we don’t have to handle and organise collection of cash.

We can provide a form to set up a standing order or provide the bank details of the parish account if you wish to set it up online or via an App direct with your bank.

A ‘cashless collection plate’ is available in the narthex at St Austin’s where you can make a donation using contactless cards. This can also be gift aided

Offertory envelopes are available for parishioners to use. They remain a practical way to make your offerings by cash or cheques and allow us to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers.

Using Envelopes or Standing Orders enables donors to Gift Aid contributions which is a huge benefit to the Parish – we can reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers at no additional cost to the donor by claiming back 25p from the HMRC for every £1 you donate.
